So I was just going to put up the newborn pictures, but figured I might as well do a small update while I'm here! It's hard to get around to these days! So E will be 4 months in a couple days. Craziness I know.. And I haven't posted since just after she was born. It's been pretty hard to find time. It's finally settling down a bit because we started sleep training her, and seriously it's been a game changer... She was getting harder and harder to get to sleep, and I had to nurse her to sleep most of the time. I pretty much had to hold her all day and night, which as you can imagine was getting soo draining, and I was getting to the point where I literally could not do it anymore for my emotional health lol. It was really taking it all out of me, making me feel like I was suffocating. I didn't know what to do. Anywayyy I read a sleep program called Sleep Sense, and we implemented the program about 5 days ago? She's done really really well with it, and is now going to sleep in her own bed (with some crying usually) and sleeping in it all night waking 1-2x/night for feeding. She and A are in bed usually by 8, and it's glorious! C and I finally have some wind-down time with NO BABIES for a few hours before bed. I didn't know a sleeping baby could do so much for my well-being. Oh but of course, just in the past couple days A has started to have sleeping troubles, resisting bedtime, and last night she woke up like 5 times. She's in a regular bed now, so she can just get out and come out. Sooo we can't catch a break I guess.......
In other news, we are now living in Eagle Mt, Utah. C has been working at his new job for about a month, and he is liking it. We like it here so far. It's nice having family close. We moved out here before Christmas so we had the holidays here with C's family, which was fun. We actually lived with C's parents for a few weeks until we found a place. We found a condo that's 20 mins from his work, and we love it a lot. It's a 3 bedroom, which has been a must for sleep training! It's really nice too, and our ward has been good so far. Oh except we got called as sunbeam teachers. We just had our first week, and boy is it going to be challenging..... There are 7 kids in our class, plus we have E with us too; and the kids are WILD. Let's just say after Sunday we were wondering what we did wrong to get this calling haha.. But really, it's gonna be tough.. Other than that it's been cold and wintery since we've moved in, so the girls and I don't get out much, which is hard, but not much I can do about it. It's so hard taking them out, so it doesn't happen much lol. So babies update: E as I said is sleeping much better. She lovvvves the boob. That's why it was getting so hard to get her and keep her asleep- because she always wanted to nurse to sleep and back to sleep. So she nurses really well. I actually had mastitis last week, but luckily I didn't feel as terribly as when I had it with A. I just felt a little yucky and had a really sore boob! But I got antibiotics, and it went away pretty quickly. Anyway, she is starting to grab things, laughs all the time now, has adorable rolls, and big blue eyes. She lovves bath time with her big sister and likes to watch her all the time! She actually always watches us eating, so I don't think it will be long until I try giving her some baby food. I originally wanted to wait until 6 months, but I feel bad so I think I'll let her try earlier.. She's just so adorable, and she loves to cuddle and be held all the time! We love her so much. A is doing pretty well too. She doesn't nap anymore, but sleeps about 8-8 every night. She was doing awesome going to bed and sleeping all night until the past couple nights like I said. I think she's scared or something. It's really frustrating because we can't just leave her in there anymore since she's in a bed now. She was doing great for so long that it's pretty annoying she's reverting back lol. Ohh well I guess...
Anyway here are some pics from the past 4 months! Actually I'm already behind, so these are pretty much up until the holidays, and I need to get up to date with uploading my pictures..
